During the season, local people are engaged in rice plantation. The Nepali Farmers celebrate this rice planting with joy by they gather, enjoy planting, dance, sing, and have a small feast in between and after the plantation. Especially the the male they manage the farm for the plantation and the females from home are on the way of plantation of rice plant.
In the past few years, not only the local farmers but the tourists who come to Nepal for the visit in this rainy season have been taking part in planting rice. For the international Tourist, this is a completely new experience for them to participate in this festival besides hiking, trek, and sightseeing.
In the same way, Nepal Government has also decided to celebrate the plantation festival as "ROPAIN FESTIVAL " on the 15th day of Ashar of Nepali third month. This festival theme is Not only for the tourist, moreover, this plantation festival is also one of the processes to promote and develop agriculture in Nepal.
