Gathemangal or gathemunga is newar festival in Nepal.
Gathemangal festival is celebrated each year on Shrawan Krishna Chaturdashi which is in the month of June/July.

These iron rings are originally made by the Nakarmis in newar community. Nakarmis are the Newars who traditionally work on iron equipment and make iron equipments.
On this day people get back home early and at home they hammered the three-legged nails on the doors to get away from the ghosts to house.
