Mahakali River and Damp Satellite Pictures. Mahakali River is Between Nepal and India Border in the western part of Nepal. In February 1960 Mahakali Treaty was to build Mahakali Damp on the Mahakali river. This treaty was controversial regarding the enrichment of land and the water of Nepal by India. 

The Mahakali Treaty between India and Nepal mainly focuses on the three major issues Sarada Dam, Tanakpur dam, and  Pancheswor multipurpose project or dam.
